“And without controversy
great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified
in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on
in the world, received up into glory.”
.INTRODUCTION.
As the scripture demonstrates on Jeremiah
8:8 “How do ye say, we are wise, and the law of the LORD
is with us? Lo, certainly in vain made he it; the
pen of the scribes is in vain.”
Many religious people are writing on different topics
of religious matters more than in any other century in the past. Since
most of these topics are denied the law of the Lord, it seems they are
writing only because they are badly hungry to express their own personal
feelings, with out giving enough time to be in harmony with the word of
God. According to the prophecy of prophet Jeremiah, thaese kinds of literatures
are classified as the vain pen of the scribes. On this short literature
I would like to bring out the misunderstandings and misinterpretation
of one of “the vain pen of the scribes” of 21st century, which
is named “Global Good News Literature
(GGNL)”
{www.globalgoodnews.org/only_jesus.htm }
.For this reason I prefer to use the abbreviation "GGNL"
to identify their literature and humbly render my short review, which
is presented to refute the literature written by GGNL
on the topic of:
1. Oneness of God
2. Oneness doctrine concerning water baptism.
This review will concentrate on the first topic
and I will print out the review of the second topic as soon as possible.
.1.1 The plural
words of the Bible
According to GGNL
the plural words of Genesis 1:26, 3:22 and Isa 6:8 refers to the plurality
of distinct personalities in the Godhead. However none of the Hebrew scholars
and those who did proper research on these verses has never ever understood
as the 21st century writers of GGNL.
..Genesis 1:26..
“And God said, Let us make man in our imagea, after
our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and
over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth,
and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created
man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female
created he them.”
In order to understand this verse as it meant to
be, I am going to approach it from four different angles, which will help
us to obtain the truth of the verse.
I. Does plurality
of a word, necessarily shows plurality of distinct personalities?
Since the Bible is the plan, idea, command of the
Almighty God, it is unwise to use our human dictionary to interpret the
divine expressions of the Bible. Let’s see some of the usage of
plural words in the Bible:
“This is the dream; and we will tell the interpretation
thereof before the king.” Daniel 2:36. If we conclude plural
words of the Bible always meant to prove the plurality of distinct personalities,
then did Prophet Daniel has three or more distinct personalities?
“And he received them at their hand, and fashioned
it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said,
These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of
Egypt.” Exodus 32:4. If we conclude plural words of the
Bible always meant to prove the plurality of distinct personalities, then
did this calf has three or more distinct personalities? I don’t
serve aa God who has lesser value than a molten calf.
“And she said, Who would have said unto Abraham, that
Sarah should have given children suck? for I have born him a son in his
old age.” .
If we conclude plural words of the Bible always meant to prove the plurality
of distinct personalities, then did Isaac has three or more distinct personalities?
Since the plural words used in all these verses
don’t show plurality of distinct personalities, I would like to
confirm that I don’t worship a God who has much lesser value than
Daniel, a calf and Isaac. Even though the Bible used plural words for
prophet Daniel, for a calf and Isaac, yet do not caused distinct plural
personalities, then what is the big deal when the Bible uses the same
to the Almighty God, the creator and the owner of everything. As we have
seen, these Bible verses prove that plural words of the Bible do not show
necessarily plurality of distinct personalities.
II.The meaning of the plural
word El-o-heem
If we are desperate to understand what the scripture
says only, it is very wise for some one to research and refer to the etymology
of the Hebrew word El-o-heem. When we let our subconscious to understand
the word of God not in the way we want but the truth, we can be able to
get the understanding as it was meant by the Bible writers. When we study
the Hebrew word “El-o-heem” that caused the plural translation
of Genesis 1:26, does not show distinct plural personalities in the God
Head. According to Logos New and Old Testament in aHebrew/Greek, in connection
with the Almighty God, the definition is “plural intensive singular
meaning indicating special possessions of God”. The plural words
of Genesis 1:26 does not show the plurality of distinct personalities
in the God head rather the plurality of special possessions of the Almighty
God.
III. Scriptures that
shows the singleness of the personality of God.
“See now that I, even I, am he, and there
is no God with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound,
and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.”
· With God there is no another distinct personality
of God!
“Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed
thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth
forth the heavens alone; that
spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;”
· He is alone by himself; there are no distinct
plural personalities in Godhead.
“Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer
the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside
me there is no God.” Isa 44:6
· There is no distinct personality of the Godhead
beside the so called other personality of God.
“Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee
from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is
there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.”
· The so called distinct plural personality of
God, who is beside the other personality of God, is not known by the Almighty
God.
“Remember the former things of old: for I am God,
and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,”
· There are no distinct plural personalities in
the Godhead, who are like God or who are identified as the other personality
of the God Head.
“Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made heaven,
the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things
that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest
them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee.”
· He is alone by himself; there are no distinct
plural personalities in the Godhead.
If we are willing to accept the truth, it is clear
in these scriptures that there are no distinct personalities in the Godhead.
If God has three distinct personalities, then how come these all scriptures
of the Bible demonstrate the singleness of the personality of the Almighty
God? As we have seen on the above verses the adjectives and adverbs that
God uses in terms of expressing Himsealf, do not allow the so called doctrine
of distinct plural personalities, rather it clarifies the singleness of
the personality in the God head. Since all these scriptures telling us
clearly the single personality of our God, the teaching of GGNL is going
to be classified as negating the word of the Almighty God and ego-centric
pagan doctrine.
IV. The fact that Man is created in the likeness
of God.
“So God created man in his own image, in the image
of God created he him; male and female created he them.”
Together with the above three points, the creation
fact also contributes an additional point that clarifies the single personality
of our God. Since man is created having single personality with body,
soul and spirit, there is no any reason to believe distinct personalities
in the Godhead. As man has body, soul and spirit unlikely the Almighty
God can be explained as Father, Son and Holy Ghost but being single in
personality as Adam is. At least GGNL suppose to accept this primary truth
of Genesis, as it clams itself as good news propagator.
From the above four angles of studying the truth
about Genesis 1:26, we can obtain pure understanding and protect our soul
from “the vain pen of the scribes”. It would be good if GGNL
is willing to be advised that there are no so called distinct plural personalities
in the God head but plurality of His special possessions.
..Genesis 3:22..
“And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become
as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand,
and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: Therefore
the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground
from whence he was taken. So he drove out the man; and he placed at the
east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned
every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.”
The event of Genesis three elaborates that Adam
sinned against the Holy God, which means the first man Adam added sinfulness
in to his nature, which supposed to be as he was created in the likeness
of God.
“Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man
upright; but they have sought out many
inventions.”
This scripture proves that Man was created being
upright but he started to seek many inventions for himself. It is a blasphemy
to wards the Almighty God to teach that at the event of Genesis chapter
three Adam became as one of the Holy distinct personalities in the God
head. While we see the fact of Genesis chapter three demonstrates that
God caught Adam, while he was rebelling against the Holy God. It was on
Genesis 1:27 the first man, Adam joined the likeness of God but at the
event of Genesis three Adam joined some angelic personalities through
rebellion, adding sinfulness in to his nature. As the teaching of GGNL
Adam became as one of thea distinct personalities in the God head in the
3rd chapter of Genesis. Didn’t Adam was in the perfect likeness
of God before he added sinfulness in to his nature through rebellion?,
Did one of the distinct personalities of God rebel against Himself before
Adam rebelled against God, at the event of Genesis chapter three? God
forbid this!!!!!
The event of Genesis three brings out the fact that
there were personalities, who were in company with God and rebelled against
God before Adam and then Adam became as one of these personalities when
he rebelled against God at the event of Genesis three. I don’t think
we need our lexicography to identify these personalities who rebelled
against God before Adam; however the following verses will make it clear.
“Behold, he put no trust in his servants; and
his angels he charged with folly:”
“And the angels which kept not their first
estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting
chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.”
..Genesis 11:7..
“Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language,
that they may not understand one another's speech. So the LORD scattered
them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left
off to build the city. ”
Since the Bible is not esoteric, we can not be confused
to understand this verse. Even though GGNL never mentioned this verse,
I am strongly convinced that it is good to show for the readers of this
literature the truth of Genesis 11:7 as well, since some of the believers
of trinity quote this verse to prove their so called doctrine of plural
personalities. Apparently it is also another blasphemy to misconstrue
this verse to teach as ‘God was calling His distinct personalities
to come in order to go down and confound the language of the people, who
were building the tower of Babylon’. Did these distinct plural personalities
were living far from each other, to the extent of to be called by one
of the distinct personality? God forgive this!!!!
The Bible does not speak about the so called distinct
personalities in the God Head, who are needed to be called in order to
come together and accomplish something. Let’s see what the Bible
says:-
“For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have
loved me, and have believed that I came out from God”
“Now are we sure that thou knowest all things, and
needest not that any man should ask thee: by this we
believe that thou camest forth from God.”
“Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye
would love me: for I proceeded forth
and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.” John
8:42
Because of the above scriptural fact, the son was
not distinct personality different from the father but the son was the
word that proceeded from the father and became flesh.
“And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and
saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:”
“The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of
the Almighty hath given me life.”
“And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up
flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put
breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that
I am the LORD….And shall put my spirit
in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your
own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed
it, saith the LORD.”
“But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send
unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which
proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:”
Because of the above scriptural fact, we can clearly
see that the Holy Spirit is not distinct personality different from the
father but the Holy Spirit always proceeds from the father.
We always need to open our heart and mind in order
to get aa clear understanding of the word of God as it meant to be. Since
God is a spirit, what does it mean when God said “Go to, let us
go down”? Is it Biblical to think that the Omni present God was
not on the earth until He came down with His so called distinct personalities?
If we don’t want to inviolable the word of God, we must allow the
Bible to interpret itself. When we study the book of Genesis there are
two events that God wanted to “go down”, on chapter 11 and
18. From these chapters we can understand that when the Omni-present God
uses the phrase “let’s go down”, it is only referring
the activity of the Almighty God with His angelic Company.
“And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah
is great, and because their sin is very grievous; I will go
down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to
the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know. And the
men turned their faces from thence, and went toward Sodom: but Abraham
stood yet before the LORD.”
“And there came two angels to
Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing
them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the
ground;” .
“Go to, let us go down,
and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's
speech. So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of
all the earth: and they left off toa build the city.”
N/B: God wanted to go down
to Sodom and Gomorrah but in the practical reality there were His angelic
companies that had gone to Sodom and Gomorrah. Since God is a spirit,
who is omni-present, there is no such thing like “down” and
“up” for His presence.
.. Isaiah 6:8..
“Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom
shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.”
From its beginning the book of Isaiah portrays that
the prophet was seeing his prophecy through vision. “The
vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem
in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.”
GGNL claims that the plural word on Isaiah 6:8 shows
the distinct plural personalities in the God head. If we are not adamant
to accept the Biblical truth, it is clearly stated that who were those
distinct plural personalities in the vision of Isaiah. The 8th verse of
Isaiah makes it clear that Only one person has the authority of sending,
then we should ask a very simple Question, who were these other personalities
having no authority of sending?
The distinct personalities of Isaiah six can be
understood, if we are willing to escape fraom the snare of GGNL, which
quoted only verse 8 not mentioning the full event of Isaiah Chapter six.
“In the year that king Uzziah died I
saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted
up, and his train filled the temple. Above
it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain
he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain
he did fly. And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is
the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory. And the posts
of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled
with smoke. Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man
of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips:
for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts. Then flew one
of the seraphim unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which
he had taken with the tongs from off the altar: And he laid it upon my
mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is
taken away, and thy sin purged. Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying,
Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send
me. And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand
not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not. Make the heart of this people
fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with
their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart,
and convert, and be healed.”
When we see this verse in the scope of the whole
event of the Chapter, it makes much easier toa identify the personalities
around the throne of God, who do not have the authority of sending. Let’s
compare this with the vision of prophet Micah:
“And he said, Hear thou therefore the word of the
LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne,
and all the host of heaven standing
by him on his right hand and
on his left.”
In the visionary realm of heaven, prophet Micah
saw that who were the distinct personalities around the throne of God.
He never saw the so called God the Son( the 2nd person God) and God the
Holy Ghost( the 3rd person God) by the right and left side of God respectively
or visa versa as the GGNL doctrine of distinct plural personalities. From
these Biblical perspective we clearly understood that the personalities
around the throne of God , who do not have the authority of sending were
none other than angelic personalities, as we can see on the given verse
seraphim were the only distinct personalities at the event of Isaiah chapter
six.
N/B: Don’t say more
than what the scripture say!
.1.2 Does the
Conjunction “with” necessarily shows distinctions of Personalities?
At this stage GGNL needs to study the word of God
before generalizing the usage of the conajunction “with” and
preferring to use its human lexicography to explain the Bible more than
the Bible itself. Let’s see some of the usage of the conjunction
“with” in the Bible:
“Dominion
and fear are with
him, he maketh peace in his high places.”
“But flesh with
the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.”
“Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive,
because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he
dwelleth with you, and shall
be in you.”
“The LORD reigneth, he is clothed
with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded
himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.”
“Let us come before his presence with
thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.”
Since the conjunction “with”
does not show the distinction of personalities on the above scripatures,
from this fact we can be able to understand that the conjunction “with”
does not necessarily prove the distinction of personalities all the time.
.1.3 Do “Personal
pronouns” necessarily show distinct personalities?
“As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD
is tried: he is a buckler
to all those that trust in him.”
“Every word of God is pure: he
is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his
words, lest he reprove thee,
and thou be found a liar.”
“Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep
her; for she is thy life.”
Since the “personal
pronounces” do not show distinct of personalities on the above scriptures,
from this fact we can simply understand that the personal pronounces do
not necessarily prove the distinct personalities all the time.
.1.4 Does the
Conjunction “and” necessarily shows the distinctions of Personalities?
“Mine heart within me is broken becausea of the prophets;
all my bones shake; I am like a drunken man, and
like a man whom wine hath overcome, because of the LORD,
and
because of the words of his holiness”
“And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and
to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you
an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.”
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord,
and in the
power of his might.”
“And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath
given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are
in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God,
and eternal life”
“Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and
his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and
I am the last; and beside me there is no God.”.
“And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having
the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid
hold on the draagon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and
bound him a thousand years,”
“And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and
my God. “
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth,
and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
Since the conjunction “and”
does not show the distinction of personalities on the above scriptures,
from this fact we can be able to understand that the conjunction “and”
does not necessarily prove distinctions of personalities all the time,
rather we can realize that it has been used also to lighten the different
aspect of the same thing or person.
.1.5 Who gave Who?
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only
begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have
everlasting life” .
According to GGNL this scripture was interpreted
as “God the father gave God the son for the salivation of the world”.
Then we are going to be forced to ask a question like, did God gave His
God or His Son for our salvation? This confusion of GGNL came because
it never gave the opportunity of interpretation for the Bible itself;
rataher GGNL chooses to multiply Gods. According to GGNL, if God the father
(the first person God) gave His second person God (God the Son), then
GGNL actually saying that God gave His God for our salvation. Now GGNL
would undoubtedly reject any suggestion of such thinking or such conclusion,
but the “God gave His God (His second person God) theory of GGNL”
inevitably leads to worship multiple Gods.
N/B: The Bible does not say
that God gave His God but His Son.
What does the message of John 3:16 “For
God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son”
mean? According to the Bible, God never gave the so called second person
God or His God for our salvation rather He gave His Son. If the Bible
said God gave His Son, then we should study the implication of the term
“Son” from Biblical perspective.
“For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled
to God by the death of his Son,
much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.” Romans
5:10.
“And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies
in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled. In the body
of his flesh through death,
to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:”
If we give attention for the above verses of the
Bible, the same Apostle that God used in order to wriate Romans, he was
the same to write Colossians. In these verses, it is clear that the term
“Son” is explained by Apostle Paul to be understood as the
body of the flesh of God. If this is so with Apostle Paul, I don’t
think it is good for us to use our lexicography and try to explain in
any other different way.
“I am the living bread which came down from heaven:
if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that
I will give is my flesh, which I will give
for the life of the world.” .
For God so loved the world, that he
gave his only begotten Son… but have everlasting life
.
We can understand what Jesus meant on John 3:16,
for Jesus Himself explained it on John 6:51. The only thing GGNL needs
to do is, not to stretch itself more than what the scripture interprets
itself and willingness to stop its personal interpretation, which says
God gave His God (second person God) for the life of the world. How ever
it is very clear in the above verses, when the Bible says “God gave
his son to die for the life of the world” it means only “God
gave his flesh (body)to die for the life of the world” as we compared
the above verses.
“As concerning therefore the eating of those things
that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing
in the world, and that there is none other
God but one. For though there be that arae called gods,
whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,)
But to us there is but one God, the Father,
of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom
are all things, and we by him.” .
According to this scripture, there is only one God,
the father, then the Son can only be called “God” in terms
of referring to God the father who is manifested in His Son but not being
distinct from the father, for the Bible says “the Son can do nothing
by himself John 5:19. If the term “Son” refers to God directly
and the Bible says the “Son” died for our sin, then we could
say God died on the cross of Calvary, but it is a universal and Biblical
fact that God being a Spirit can not die. In order to be in harmony with
the general Biblical perspective and truth, the direct implication of
the term “Son” should be only the body of the flesh of the
Almighty God, who was died for our sin. One more point that I realized
from the writers of GGNL is, they seems do not know or they are purposely
neglecting the principle of “the inside by the out side”,
which is commonly used almost in many circumstances globally. But I would
like to show how this principle also used in the Bible. Let’s see
the following examples:
The Bible demonstrates as people killed the souls
of other people in many passages of the Bible (Ezekiel 13:19, Rev.16:3),
since the Bible tells us in the Gospel of Matthew that no one can kill
a soul but only flesh, then this shows us only the principle of “the
insaide by the out side” is also being used in the Bible.
“Or if a soul touch any
unclean thing, whether it be a carcase of an unclean beast,
or a carcase of unclean cattle, or the carcase of unclean creeping things,
and if it be hidden from him; he also shall be unclean, and guilty.”
Lev. 5:2. How could soul touch the material world, if it is not
through the principle of “the inside by the out side”?
“And whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel,
or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of
blood; I will even set my face against that
soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among
his people” Lev. 17:10. How could soul eat material blood,
if it is not through the principle of “the inside by the out side”?
“And whoso shall swear by
the temple, sweareth by it, and
by him that dwelleth therein.”
Mat 23:21. “Jesus answered and said unto them,
Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.Then said the
Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear
it up in three days? But he spake of the temple
of his body” John 2:19-21.The Bible tells
us that the body of Christ is “temple”. There fore when we
call the “Son” being “God”, we are actually reaferring
to the father that dwells in the “Son”, as Jesus said the
father dwells in me (John 14:10).
. A Brief Summery
Since the Bible writers were strictly monotheistic,
there is no any normal point for the Church to endorse the pagan concept
of Trinity, man made doctrine of the 4th century and the 21st century
doctrine of “Twins in the God Head”, which is presented by
GGNL. Since God presented Himself as one, indivisible, no distinction
in Him and with out having none like Him, it is a bold blasphemy to create
the so called doctrine of Twins. Further more GGNL explained that One
God(One Person) believers teach that Holy spirit is the activity of God,
since we don’t believe the Holy spirit as the activity of God, I
left out this point as the misunderstanding or misconstrue of GGNL rather
we believe that the Holy Spirit is God Himself in activity.
1. If Holy Spirit has distinct
personality from the father, then why the Bible says that Holy Spirit
proceeds from the father, proving that Holy Spirit is not distinct person
from the father? John 15:26.
2. If Holy Spirit has distinct
personality from Jesus, then why the Bible says that Jesus breathed Holy
Spirit in to His disciples, proving that Holy Spirit is not distinct person
from Jesus? John 20:21.
3. If the Holy spirit is a
different and distinct personality from Jesus, then why the Bible used
the Graeek word “allos”(the same sort in different form) but
not “hetros” (different thing from different or distinct sort),
proving that Holy Spirit is not distinct person by himself but Jesus(God)
Himself in different form? John 14:16.
4. If Jesus has distinct personality
from the father, then why the Bible says that the Son can do nothing of
Himself, proving that Jesus is not distinct person from the father? John
5:19.
5. If Jesus has distinct personality
from the father, then how could Jesus answered for the question “where
is your father?” by saying “I am He”, proving that Jesus
is not distinct person from the father? John 8:19 & 24.
6. If Jesus has distinct personality
from the father, then why the Bible says that Jesus proceeded from the
father, proving that Jesus is not distinct person from the father? John
8:42.
7. If Jesus has distinct personality
from the father, then why the Bible says that Jesus himself is the father,
proving that Jesus is not distinct person from the father? Isa 9:6.
8. If Jesus has distinct personality
from the father, then why the Bible says that all the fullness of the
God Head dwells in Jesus bodily, proving that Jesus is not distinct person
from the father? Col 2:9.
9. If Jesus has distinct personality
from the father, then why the Bible saays that there is a name, which only
Jesus Himself knows it, proving that Jesus is not distinct person from
the father? Rev 19:11.

In my conclusion, it is not
wise to interpret the word of God, completely avoiding what the other
part of the Bible is saaying about it. This kind of approach will lead
us to force the word of God in order to say only what we want to say.
As long as the term trinity does not exist together with the doctrine
it stands for, It is simply to be unjust to blame some one for not acknowledging
something that does not exist any where in reality. The Bible does not
teach distinct personalities in the God Head but it teaches about the
father (the invisible aspect of God, Rome 1:20), the Son (the visible
aspect of God, Col1:15) and Holy Spirit (God Himself in activity, 1Cor
1:10). It is my humble prayer to the writers of GGNL
to understand, acknowledge and humble themselves for the scriptural fact
in staid of systematically negating the central truth, strict monotheism
and the indivisible one God teaching of the Bible.
.."PREACH THE WORD!!" Not man made logic...
